Yes, every device behind a hub is listed and identified. Cable ratings need a direct connection to your Mac.

What about USB-C and Thunderbolt?

USB-C devices are fully supported, including Power Delivery chargers - you'll see voltage, current, and wattage. Thunderbolt-only devices (those that don't also expose a USB interface) may not appear.

How does device identification work?

The app matches vendor IDs against a built-in database covering 100% of USB-IF registered vendors - including complete coverage of Apple peripherals.
